(other days and hours as needed) Job Summary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties:
Load cases of product to fill distributor orders; operate components of shipping automation; load and unload transferred product; Maintain a clean and orderly work area, keep waste to a minimum; Work flexible hours as needed; Perform other duties as needed.
Required Qualifications Must have or be able to obtain a McKee Foods LTO license and maintain the license.
Willingness to be flexible and perform various tasks and functions as needed.
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and be organized.
Self motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work without direct supervision.
Basic math skills.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both written and oral) and work with management, coworkers and other departments or customers.
Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
Must be able to repetitively lift and move up to 40 lbs.
Demonstrated ability to determine cause and effect; good trouble shooting skills.
Computer skills or the ability to learn basic computer skills.
Good work, safety, and attendance records; knowledge of and adherence to company policies, personal safety, food safety, product purity, and departmental procedures.
Steel toed safety shoes.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and train and develop others.
Able to work additional hours and days as needed.
Preferred Qualifications Previous Shipping experience.
Previous LTO experience.
Mechanical aptitude and skills.
